NEW DELHI, Sept 23: An intensive cleanliness drive was carried out at railway colonies, offices, retiring rooms, waiting halls, rest houses and dormitories today on the 8th day of the ongoing Swacchhta Pakhwada.
A statement said that the theme of the Pakhwada today was “Swachh Karyalaya, Swacch Parisar.”
During the cleanliness drive, the availability of dry and wet dustbin was ensured at railway stations besides cleaning the garbage from the railway colonies.
At Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) office, New Delhi, Sukhwinder Singh, DRM, Delhi, other officers and staff, participated in the “Shramdaan” to clean the littered garbage.
