TAPA organizes folk theatre workshop

REASI, Sept 23: Triple “A” Performing Arts Reasi, in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademi New Delhi, is holding ten-day folk theatre workshop at GZSM Degree College Reasi.
On the 5th day of the ongoing workshop, the participants created scene on Dogri play “ Mela Basoye Da”, written by Sahatya Akademi awardees Raj Rahie and performed group wise scene work, through improvisations and acting exercises with their body movements and voice quality.
Set designing etc was directed by the experts Akram Khan, Raj Rahi, Rajesh Ajnabi, Shadab Khan, Neha Chouhaan and Raja Amir.
Shadab Khan and Raj Rahi expressed that this workshop is one of its kind in the district and participants are getting this kind of experience for the first time in their life. He expected some extraordinary talent coming out from this workshop.
Raja Aamir Khan also spoke on the occasion. About 35 students, who were selected in the workshop, include Autal Kumar, Neeraj Kumar, Avinish Thappa, Mohd Munir, Akshay Kumar, Sajid Saleem, Mohinder Kumar, Pallvi Thappa, Garima Dogra, Priya Devi, Kajal Thappa, Isha Devi, Priya Kumari, Samriti, Palak Atri, Nilakshi Devi, Priyarka Devi, Vasudha Rajput, Anjali Devi, Priya Kumari, Akashay Kumar, Vikrant Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Ambika Soni, Nidhi Singh Thakur, Shivani Nag, Anshu Parotra, Vishali Rajput, Khushi Devi. Anil Thakur, Vijay Singh and Lalit Singh.
Kishor Atri acted as Co-coordinator of the workshop.
