SO to ADGP Jammu given warm farewell

JAMMU, Sept 25: A warm farewell was accorded to Staff Officer (SO) of the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu, Ashok Kumar, in a function held here today.
Kumar will be attaining superannuation on September 30th, 2023.
To recognise the services of the retiring police officer, ADGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh, organised a high-tea party, where he lauded the work/efforts put in by Ashok Kumar, SSP, during his service in the Department in different capacities.
A statement said that Ashok Kumar earned number of commendation certificates, rewards and appreciations from the senior formations for his outstanding contributions to the Police Department.
He was awarded with DGP’s Commendation Medal in 2004 and 2007, Chief Vigilance Medal in 2007 and an amount of Rs 51000 for displaying the exemplary courage in the discharge of his duties.
Shakti Pathak, IPS, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua (JSK) Range, also highlighted the contributions of the retiring officer.
All the senior police officers and the staff members wished Ashok Kumar a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
