NEW DELHI, Sept 25: Former General Manager (PR) of Power Finance Corporation (PFC), Om Prakash and former GM (PR) of REC Limited, Rama Vijay, have been honoured in the category of “Hall of Fame” during the Chanakya Awards function.
The Chanakya Awards function was organized by “Public Relations Council of India” (PRCI) in association with Public Relation Society, Delhi (PRSD) in their “17th Global Communication Conclave”. During the function, Om Prakash and Rama Vijay were honoured for their immense contribution to the profession.
They were honoured jointly by Jual Oram, MP and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence and Vinod Zutshi, former Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism in the presence of MB Jayaram, Chief Mentor and Chairman Emeritus, Geetha Shankar, National president, PRCI, and a large gathering from Corporate Communication, Public Relation and Media professionals and diplomatic representatives from different embassies.
Rama Vijay has long innings of over 32 years in various capacities in REC in various disciplines. She is very much active in her professional field and has been contributing as a member of the Governing Body and continues to date.
