UDHAMPUR, Sept 25: In an apparent case of suicide, a young man was found hanging from a tree near his house at village Mali Tikri in Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Chain Singh (42), son of Chuni Lal, resident of village Mali. Some locals spotted him hanging from the tree and immediately informed Rehambal Police Station.
Later, Police shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and after completion of all the legal formalities, it was handed over to the family members.
Rehambal Police have registered a case under 174 CrpC for further investigation.
