SAMBA, June 22: Police today arrested three absconders, who were evading arrest for the past over 10 years.
Police spokesman said that, Samba police has arrested three absconder namely Ashok Kumar, son of Hans Raj of Nanak-e-Chak, Janak Raj, son of Babu Lal of Mananu, Tehsil and district Samba and Mangal Kumar, son of Kaka Ram of Makhanpur Gujriam, tehsil RS Pura, who were involved in FIR Numbers 97/ 2001, 121/2000 and 77/2002 respectively.
He said that High Court has also issued arrest warrant against them under Section 512 Cr PC, adding, that due to the strenuous efforts by special team headed by Dr Koushal Kumar Sharma, SP Samba, the absconders were arrested.
