ANANTNAG, Sept 27: At least eight people sustained injuries after an explosion inside a vehicle in the Larkipora area in Anantnag district on Wednesday.
According to officials, the blast took place occurred this morning near a local market, causing panic among locals.
Jammu and Kashmir Police said there is no terror angle in the incident.
Those injured in the incident were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Chato Kumar S/O Soria Kumar age 18 years, Param Jeet S/O Jitender Age 22 years, Bhawan Kumar S/O Mohan Kumar age 21 years, Fiqan S/O Nanda Lal Age 17 years, Jiten S/O Nanda Reshi age 21 years, Titu Kumar S /O Mahir Reshi age 23 years, Matlesh Kumar S/O Ganesh Kumar age 19 years , Shan Kumar S/O Nanda Reshi age 17 all Residents of Bihar.
