JAMMU, June 22: The Mohalla Manhas Barnai has been plunged into darkness for last two days after the local transformer developed a snag.
The BJP leader and Ex- Corportator, Ward 65 Omi Khajruia today made an appeal to the PDD authorities to take immediate steps in replacing the transformer in the area and restore power supply as burning down of transformer has added to miseries of the people in this hot Summer when temperature has touched 46 degrees.
He said the transoformer had earlier also developed the sang over 15 days back and to solve the problem once for all the authorities should install 300 watt transformer instead of present 250 watt in view of the increasing population of the area.
