KATHUA, Sept 27: Col (retd) Mahan Singh, the DDC Chairman of Kathua, along with Dinesh Nayyer, SE Kathua-Samba Circle, conducted an on-site review and discussed the progress of various ongoing projects within the newly created Billawar PWD (R&B) Division.
During the meeting, Neeru Bala, Rajput, DDC Member Mandli; Bikram Singh, DDC Member Billawar; Er Kuldeep Kumar, Executive Engineer, PWD Division Billawar; AEE Jagmohan, along with their staff members; Omakant Basotra, president of MC Billawar; Puran Chand, Ex DySP and corporator; Ravinder Billawaria; Surinder Billawaria; Dr. Bubneshwari Parsad; Capt (retd) Sher Singh, Sarpanch of Dhamlad; Shiv Dev Singh, Sarpanch of Pallan; Sonu Sumbria; Hans Raj Sonwal; and several other distinguished individuals were also present.
In the meeting a comprehensive discussion on various projects was held. The projects under scrutiny during the on-site visits included the under-construction CHC Billawar, new building, Judicial Court Building Billawar, proposed Bypass Road from Naaz bridge to Indoor Stadium Billawar, proposed Site of Bheeni Bridge to village Beril, road site to Village Sunail Pallan, Neyali Bridge over Beani Nallha near Dhamlad, the Mahanpur-Basohli road improvement project, Karanwada PHC, and more.
DDC Chairman emphasized the importance of timely project completion and the maintenance of high-quality construction standards. He also issued directives for the preparation of proposals and DPRs for a multitude of new projects.
