SRINAGAR, Sept 27: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) today carried out raids at multiple locations in Kashmir in connection with the killing of a bank guard earlier this year.

The raids were conducted in south Kashmir districts of Anantnag, Pulwama and Shopian.
According to an official, the raids are a part of the Central agency’s investigations into the killing (FIR No 14/2023) of bank ATM guard Sanjay Sharma.
Sharma was gunned down by militants in Achan area of Pulwama in February this year.
The SIA sleuths raided an orchard in Litter Pulwama and raid was also conducted at Shermall in Shopian district.
They also conducted raid at the house of a militant Haroon Rashid Gania at Hassanpora in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district.
The official further said that these searches are being conducted in strict accordance with search warrants duly issued by the Special Court.
