JAMMU, Sept 29: A meeting of office bearers and working Committee members of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha was held under the chairmanship of Romesh Chander Gupta, President, for finalization of the arrangements regarding celebration of 157th birth anniversary of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan.
Known as Sher-e-Duggar and founder of Mahajan Sabha, the birth anniversary of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan will be celebrated on 2nd October 2023 at Lala Hans Raj Park, situated at Gurdwara Sunder Singh Road, Jammu.
Romesh Chander appealed to all the ward Presidents of the Sabha and community members to actively take part in the said function. The Sabha has been organizing such functions every year with full enthusiasm and spirit to pay their observance and remember the good works done by the great visionary for the economical weaker sections of the society, he said and stressed upon the youth of the community to come forward wholeheartedly and make it a great function.
Romesh Chander Gupta also expressed his inability to attend this function due to personal reasons and appealed to all the members of the Biradari to make it a grand success in the presence of Working President, Shiv Pratap Gupta of the Sabha who will also look after day to day affairs of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha.
Shiv Partap Gupta , Sr Vice President, said that it will be a true tribute to Lala ji if we follow his footprints for the upliftment of the Mahajan community.
