AP : 275 mobie phones recovered using service of ‘Mobi track Kakinada police’: SP

KAKINADA (Andhra Pradesh), Sep 30 : Kakinada district police have successfully recovered 275 mobile phones either stolen or lost by owners pressing into service the special App ` Mobi track Kakinada Police’.
The phones were given possession to the complainants at a special function held at the district police office here today.
Superintendent of Police S. Sathish Kumar while handing over the mobile phones to the complainants has advised the people to use the` Mobi track Kakinada police’ App for registering their complaints enabling the police to track them and recover fast.
Kumar also said that ever since the Mobi track Kakinada police App service was launched ? 90 phones in the first instalment, 249 in second instalment, 231 phones third instalment and now 275 in fourth instalment – thus total 845 cell phones were recovered and given possession to the legitimate complainants.
`If any one lost their mobile phone or stolen should dial up Mobi track Kakinada police whatsapp number 94906 17852 and send a message typing Hai.
There upon they would get a link in which they should register the details of the phone lost. Similarly the central government also introduced CEIR website( https//www.ceir.gov.in) for similar purpose which can be utilized to lodge their complaint about the lost cell phone ‘ he added.
The SP further appreciated the coordinated effort of central control room inspector Chavvakula Ramakoteswera rao, IT Core inspector P Srinivasarao, DCRB Inspector P. Eswerudu and IT core SI Ramakrishna in the speedy recovery of record number of 275 cell phones .
