JAMMU, Sept 30: Shiv Sena (UBT) J&K unit will organize the 41st Charri Yatra in traditional form from Raghunath temple in Jammu to the cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi Ji on October 14 and the devotees accompanying the Charri will perform Darshan and Charri Poojan at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on October 15, 1st Navratra.
Addressing a press conference here today, Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena J&K said that Charri Yatra will have Darshans at Kol Kandoli, Deva Mai before entering sacred town of Katra to visit Ban Ganga and Ardhkuwari and then at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine on October 15 where Charri Poojan will be performed.
The Shiv Sena leader said that prayers for restoration of peace, development, happiness and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir will be held.
He invited the devotees to be part of the Yatra and said that this journey will be completely free and a Bhandara will also be organized at Kol Kandoli temple, Nagrota.
Sahni said that devotees and Shiv Sainiks from J&K, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Gujarat and other places are joining the Yatra to get blessings of the Goddess.
Shiv Sena women wing president, Meenakshi Chibber, Balwant Singh, president Kamghar wing, Raj Singh, Shashipal and others were also present in the press conference.
