JAMMU, Sept 30: Deputy Mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria here today started repair works of drainage system, road restoration and improvement along with installation of streetlights for enhanced safety and visibility in Sector 2, Gangyal area of Ward number 56.
He expressed commitment to addressing all the needs and aspirations of the local community and provide them improved infrastructure and amenities.
Billawaria said that the projects will be completed in a time-bound manner ensuring quality work.
He said that JMC follows the footsteps of PM Modi based on the principle of ‘Sab Ka Sath, Sab Ka Vikas, Sab Ka Vishwas, Aur Sab Ka Prayas’.
The Deputy Mayor said that JMC will never lag behind in developmental works.
“The Urban Local Body seeks cooperation of residents during the construction process to ensure that the work is completed smoothly and efficiently,” he maintained adding that more development projects are in pipeline to further enhance city’s infrastructure.
Locals of the area have expressed satisfaction that they have heaved a sigh of relief ensured by the developmental works accomplished by the Deputy Mayor.
BJP Mandal president, Ranjit Singh; Surjit Kumar, Mohan Lal, Buta Ram, Tara Chand, Rinku Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Janu Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
