POONCH, Oct 1: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, one more notorious drug peddler detained under NDPC Act in Poonch district.
Identified as Parvez Ahmed Garishta, son of Abdul Aziz, resident of Seri Khawaja in Tehsil Haveli of district Poonch, he has been lodged by Police in District Jail, Poonch. Notably a number of FIRs were registered against him in different Police Stations under NDPS Act. The said drug peddler was a serious threat to the health and welfare of the people especially youth by way of his continued indulgence in drug trafficking. His activities were detrimental for the peace of the area.
Therefore, acting tough against the above mentioned drug- peddler he has been lodged in District Jail Poonch under PIT NDPS Act.
