JAMMU, Oct 1: Reiterating country’s commitment of retrieving Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) which is under the forcible occupation of Pakistan, Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) held a massive Tiranga rally at Delhi today in which Union Minister of State (MoS), Road Transport and Civil Aviation, Gen (retd) V K Singh and senior RSS leader and chief patron of the Manch, Dr Indresh Kumar said that the nation is committed to joint Parliamentary resolution of 1994 on PoJK.
Hundreds of activists of MRM drawn from all over country who converged at Red Fort participated in the rally and took a solemn pledge of retrieving PoJK which is an integral part of India and from the clutches of Pakistan.
The activists and leaders of Manch with National flags in their hands were raising pro nationalist slogans.
Addressing the rally, Union Minister, Gen V K Singh said that day is not far away when PoJK will be the part of India. He held British responsible for partition and annexation of a big portion of undivided J&K by Pakistan. “If British hadn’t conspired, the PoJK would not have been separated from India and it would have been a part of the country at present,” he added.
The Minister said that Pakistan always feared that PoJK residents who have relatives in Jammu and Kashmir would someday reunite with them. “The day is not far away when PoJK will once again be part of India”, he added while addressing the rally from historical Ramleela Ground near Red Fort.
The member National Executive Committee, RSS and chief patron MRM, Dr. Indresh Kumar in his address said the objective of “Tiranga Yatra for PoJK” is to reiterate the stand about PoJK being the part of Bharat and added that nation is committed to take it back. “PoJK was, is and will always remain an integral part of Bharat,” he asserted.
“PoJK including Gilgit Baltistan is our part and we are committed to take it back for which Pakistan needs to vacate it as this has been illegally occupied by Pakistan and the people of that region are being suppressed and oppressed by Pakistan Government,” Kumar said. “The Pakistan Government has usurped their rights and liberties and the hapless people of PoJK are facing worst kind of atrocities”, he added while expressing his solidarity with these people.
Dr. Indresh Kumar further stated that Muslim Rashtriya Manch is now going to organise “Tiranga Yatra For PoJK” all over Bharat and the days of oppression and suppression for these people will be over soon.
He said that it is the mistake on part of the leadership in 1947 that PoJK was occupied by Pakistan and no immediate claim was staked at that time by India’s ruling leadership.
“It is unforgettable mistake committed by our leaders in 1947 that the PoJK including Gilgit -Baltistan were occupied by Pakistan and from that day till now, no claim for that portion of India was staked,” he observed, adding that the whole nation is bearing the brunt of that mistake till this day. He, however, made it clear that India is committed to take this part of land back from illegal occupation of Pakistan and there is joint Parliament resolution of 1994 in this regard.
All India convener, MRM, Haji Mohammad Afzaal who formally flagged off the rally, reiterated the commitment of Manch for retrieving of PoJK saying it is the national commitment. He said MRM fulfilled its earlier commitments on Tripple Talaq, abrogation of 370 and 35 -A and now it will continue its struggle for liberation of PoJK from illegal occupation of Pakistan and reunite it with India of which it is an integral part.
He said Manch has no two thoughts on this issue and it stands for justice to the PoJK people who have been subjected to human rights violation for decades together by Pakistan Government.
Besides, other participants the rally was attended by Gulshan Kumar (organiser J&K, Ladakh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh), Mir Nazir Ahmed (convenor J&K, Ladakh UT’s), Dr Shamsh-ul-Haq (co-convenor J&K, & Ladakh UT’s), Amir Iqbal Khan (spokesperson and Media/IT JKUT) and others.
Slogans like Meri Mati Mera Desh, Madray Watan Hindustan Zindabad, Aek Hind Jai Hind, Aadhi Roti Khayenge, Bachon Ko Padayeingay, Taleem Zindagi Kay Liye, Zindagi Watan Kay Liye and Muslim Rashtriya Manch Zindabad were raised on the occasion.
