SAMBA, Oct 2: Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, Benam Tosh, police has arrested notorious eve-teaser in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Ramgarh in district Samba today.
The arrested eve teaser has been identified as Daljeet Singh alias Sethi son of Attar Singh of Goura Chak tehsil Ramgarh district Samba.
On the complaint of one minor girl student of 7th class, FIR has been registered at Police Station (PS), Ramgarh. The accused has been arrested and investigation is in progress.
The accused has been arrested by police team comprising of SHO Police Station, Ramgarh, Amit Kumar and SI Rajinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO, Vijaypur, Rohit Kumar and Additional SP, Samba Surinder Choudhary.
On the clear directives of SSP Samba, Benam Tosh, stringent legal action is being taken by Police against eve teasers in Samba district. Police is booking eve-teasers under relevant sections of law and nabbing the eve-teasers in Samba district, as crime against women has been accorded top priority to effectively deal with.
