JAMMU, Oct 2: Home Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has ordered promotion of five Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) as Superintendents of Police (SPs) in pay level 11.
Those promoted are Salim Jahangir Lone, Showkat Ahmad Dar, Manish Kumar Sharma, Imtiaz Ahmad and Farhan Jahanzeb Naqash.
As per an order issued in this regard, the promotions shall be subject to writ petition(s), if any, pending before the court of law.
