Every household in Rajasthan is reaping benefit of public welfare schemes: Gehlot

*Inaugurates, lays foundation stone of works worth Rs 368 cr in Nathdwara

JAIPUR, Oct 3: Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot today said that every household has become a beneficiary of the public welfare schemes of the State Government as the reach of good governance to every village and every family has been ensured by his Government.
Gehlot was addressing the foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremony of various development works and interacting with traders, employees and Pichwai painting artisans associated with marble business under Mission-2030 in Nathdwara.
On the occasion, development works worth Rs 74 crore were inaugurated and the foundation stone of works worth Rs 294 crore was laid.
The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan has now become the leading state of the country in various fields including education, health and medicine, employment, industry, social security, women empowerment. He said the pace of progress will further increase with the inauguration and foundation stone laying of development works worth crores of rupees today.
The CM said that domestic electricity consumers are relieved by getting 100 units free and agricultural consumers get 2000 units free per month. Every family has become a beneficiary of this. “More than 300 colleges and about 96 universities have been opened in the State in the last 5 years. Development work has been done at religious places at a cost of approximately Rs 100 crore. Animal farmers were given assistance of Rs 40,000 each for animals that died due to Lumpy disease. Also, now under Kamdhenu Animal Insurance Scheme, two milch animals are being insured for Rs 40 each. By giving milk subsidy of Rs 5 per liter to the cattle farmers, they have got financial support and Rajasthan has also come to the first place in milk production, leaving behind the neighboring state Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
Gehlot said now Prime Minister Narendra Modi should implement the schemes of Rajasthan in the entire country. “We are committed to protecting the interests of State employees. Old Pension System was first re-implemented in Rajasthan. The Central Government should also implement this decision taken on the basis of humanity in the country,” he asserted.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr CP attended the ceremony. Medical and Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena, Water Resources Minister Mahendrajit Singh Malviya, Cooperation Minister Udaylal Anjana, Industries and Commerce Minister Shakuntala Rawat, former Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasara, former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and other public representatives were also present.
