Burglar held, stolen items recovered

KISHTWAR, Oct 3: In a significant breakthrough, Police here today successfully apprehended a burglar and recovered stolen items from his disclosures with an estimated value of lakhs of rupees.
Kishtwar Police received a complaint yesterday in which it was stated that unknown individuals had stolen mobile phones and mobile accessories from outside a shop.
After registering a case in FIR with number 238/2023 U/Section 379/IPC a special team was constituted which was led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday and assisted by PSI Happy Choudhary under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Hqrs Kishtwar, Dr. Ishan Gupta.
The team conducted thorough investigations, rounded-up several suspects and with the aid of CCTV footage and technical tools, successfully arrested the main accused identified as Harris Hussain, son of Rifat Hussain, resident of Kotwal Mohalla, Kishtwar.
The recovery on his disclosure included three Mobile Phones (iPhone, Samsung, and Nokia); 10 displays of various mobile phones; 14 Mobile Batteries; 10 Tubes of Glue T-7000; 15 Mobile ICs and 4 Mobile Covers.
