KARGIL, Oct 3: Polling will be held tomorrow for 26 seats of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
A total of 95,388 voters will elect their 26 representatives from among a total of 85 contestants in fray.
Fate of the candidates will be sealed in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) which will be opened on the day of counting i.e. October 8.
Highest 22 candidates are in fray from Congress followed by 17 each from National Conference and BJP, four of Aam Aadmi Party and 25 Independents.
The administration has made all arrangements for the elections.
