Srinagar, Jan 6: Burglars broke into the offices of three National media Channel offices located in a hotel in the Srinagar on Sunday night.
A police spokesman said the suspects managed to sneak into the bureau offices of CNN-IBN, IBN7 and Times Now housed in Hotel Pamposh in Regal Chowk, Srinagar.
Reports said the burglars decamped with some mobile phones from the offices and tore few files. The CCTV installed in the hotel was made non-functional allegedly by the robbers.
A police official said that they have registered a case vide FIR number 1/2014 under Section 379 of RPC in this regard. “We have sent all the samples and finger prints to FSL and will take up investigation thoroughly once the report from FSL will arrive,” he said.
