Education fair Infra Educa starts at Pragati Maidan

NEW DELHI, June 23:
Annual education-cum-career fair  Infra Educa today started here at Pragati Maidan.
Number of colleges from across the country,  representatives of Indian Army, Air Force and Council  of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) are  participating in the two-day fair, inaugurated by  Congress MP Shahshi Tharoor.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Tharoor said such  education-cum career fair provides an interactive  platform for students.
He added that such fairs should be organised in smaller  towns as well to give exposure to the students residing in  remote areas.
Indraprastha University, Delhi, is the University  partner for the event.
The main attraction of the fair is participation of  defence services to encourage students to take career  options in defence services.
CSIR and Department of Bio-Technology are also   participating in the fair to give students exposure  and awareness on research and development and scientific  education.
