JAMMU, Oct 5: In yet another achievement, Government Medical College Jammu (GMC-J) has got two DNB seats in the specialty of Respiratory Medicine.
“As a significant step towards strengthening public healthcare scenario in Jammu, two seats have been sanctioned by National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) under DNB to GMC Jammu in the specialty of Respiratory Medicine,” said Dr Ashutosh Gupta, Principal and Dean, GMC and Associated Hospital, Jammu.
The Principal informed that the Institution has been conferred with DNB seats after the successful inspection by the authorities of National Board of Examination. He said in this regard, a formal letter has been issued today by the NBE authorities.
Dr Gupta said that the implementation of this DNB course will enable GMC Jammu to deliver tangible results in service delivery.
