JAMMU, Jan 7: Migrant Welfare Association (MWA), TRT-I, Muthi Camp, phase II held a meeting under the chairmanship of Moti Lal Bhat, which was presided over by president of the committee TN Koul and attended by committee members.
In the meeting, the participants demanded compensation of Rs 25 lakh for unemployed and over aged youth, enhancement of monthly cash assistance to Rs 15,000, increase in ration quota to 40 kilograms, issuance of voter card, Aadhar card, construction of shopping complex, posting of doctors and supply of medicines, installation of street light and medical aid to the patients suffering from life consuming diseases.
Kaul appealed the camp inmates to remain united to thwart the nefarious designs of the Government.
