Traders Federation organizes Medical Camp

JAMMU, Oct 7: A free medical camp was organized here today by Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market in collaboration with Sewa Bharti.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Harvinder Singh inaugurated the camp in the presence of Deepak Gupta, president Traders Federation and representatives of Sewa Bharti.
About 10 healthcare professionals including doctors, pharmacists and supporting staff offered their services in the camp and this team included Dr. Vinod Khajuria (Ortho), Dr. Pallav (Ortho), Dr. Naresh (Physician) and others.
Various services such as blood pressure monitoring and basic examinations were done in the camp.
Educational sessions on hygiene, nutrition and disease prevention were also organized for the attendees.
“Free medicines for joint pain, cold and cough, rheumatoid arthritis, insomnia, general weakness, scabies and other chronic ailments were distributed to the patient as prescribed by the doctors,” organizers of the camp said.
Deepak Gupta said that the camp received overwhelming response and some of the patients who needed further investigation and regimental therapies will be provided free treatment in the hospital.
Gupta also said that with the help of Sewa Bharti, such camps will continue in future also.
Among those who were present in the medical camp were Munish Mahajan, senior vice president; Sham Lal Langer, general secretary; Vishal Gupta, secretary of the Federation; Dr. Deepak, NMO general secretary; Ajay Takoo, Sewa Bharti Welfare Incharge; Tirlok Singh, vice president Sewa Bharti; Upinder Parmar, Office In-charge Sewa Bharti and Sumti Mahajan, Prachar Pramukh Sewa Bharti.
