JAMMU, Oct 7: PHE Employees United Front (PHEEUF), Jammu province today highlighted the demands of the employees (both daily wagers and permanent) of the Jal Shakti (PHE) Department.
The demands were highlighted during a meeting of the Front jointly presided over by Balbder Raj, Varun Sharma, Rajesh Jamwal, Parkash Chand and Mohd Mushtaq.
Reiterating their demands which included amendment of incomplete and impugned SRO-380, doing stagnated promotions of the employees on seniority basis, settlement of SRO-43 cases on priority, disbursement of salary before 5th of every month, besides other benefits such as GPF, leave salary, gratuity, the Front leaders said that regarding these issues they had earlier met Commissioner Secretary Jal Shakti Department but nothing substantial was done in last 6 months.
The PHEEUF leaders further urged the Government to retain all the four PHE divisions with parent PHE Department to stop inconvenience to the employees.
