JAMMU, Oct 7: Government Degree College Marh has been registered with JK Bharat Scouts and Guides. The Government Degree College Marh in an educational institution known for its commitment to holistic development and community engagement.
The students (Rangers and Rovers) of college expressed jubilation on getting associated with Bharat Scouts and Guides, under the leadership of College Principal, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul.
This event marked as a significant milestone in the mission to empower students with not only academic excellence but also essential life skills along with leadership abilities and a deep sense of social responsibility. Dr. Balwinder Saini (Head of Department, Chemistry) was nominated and subsequently selected as Rover leader. A total of 3 units have been raised out of which two are Ranger.
