POONCH, Oct 7: An accused wanted in a case registered in Police Station Poonch and absconding for the last five years, has been arrested.
He was identified as Mohd Rashid, son of Muneer Hussain, resident of village Qasba, Tehsil Haveli in District Poonch.
According to the Police, the accused was wanted in case FIR number 131/2015, Under Section 379 ,447,201 RPC of PS Poonch and he was absconding whereas a general warrant of arrest U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him by the Court of Special Sub judge Mobile Magistrate.
Following his arrest, the court has sent him to judicial custody till October 11, 2023.
