Hatli residents’ plea to Govt

KATHUA, Oct 7: The residents of Hatli in Kathua district have shown grave concern over non availability of matador and other public transport services in the area during Sundays and alleged that the people of the area are facing many hardships due to same.
In a statement the residents of Hatli said that the matador service from Kathua to Hatli which plies during other week days are not plied on Sundays putting the people to many hardships. They said the problem becomes complicated especially when an ailing person is to be shifted to hospital. They urged the authorities to issue directives to the concerned transport operators to ensure the matador service plies in the area on Sundays as well and people are relieved of the problem.
