DODA, Oct 8: A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself near her residence here in Khaljugsar village of Block Changa.
As per police, the woman was identified as Ujla Devi, 40, wife of Jaipal, resident of Dhanori village in Khaljugsar and she was found hanging from an apricot tree near her home.
After getting information about the incident, cops from Police Post Changa reached the spot and shifted the body to Sub District Hospital Gandoh where after conducting postmortem the body was handed over to legal heirs of the deceased for last rites.
Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
