JAMMU, Oct 8: Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Professor and Head, Post Graduate Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu has brought laurels to his alma-mater GMC Jammu by being elected as a member of NAMS (National Academy of Medical Science).
The membership of the prestigious national body of NAMS was presented to Dr Gupta during NAMS annual conference held at Ramaiah Medical College Bangalore (Karnatka) with effect from 6th-8th October.
NAMS membership is an honor bestowed upon an eminent scientist as an acknowledgement of academic excellence and professional achievements. Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta has more than 100 research publications till date.
