BJP lacks courage to face J&K voters: Shiv Sena

JAMMU, Oct 10: The recent results of Kargil election, held for the first time after abrogation of Article 370 have exposed dissatisfaction among J&K people with the decision of PM Modi led government contrary to the promises made to the nation.
This was stated by Manish Sahni, president Shiv Sena (UBT), J&K while talking to media persons here today during a joint protest organized by opposition parties. He emphasised on the need to restore Statehood to J&K, revive democraic processes and address public grievances.
Sahni flayed the government for apathy towards critical issues and claimed that every segment of J&K is uniting to teach BJP a lesson and winds of change are sweeping through the region.
He further claimed that BJP is exploiting Article 370 for electoral gains across the country but is shying away from facing voters in J&K.
Meenakshi Chibber, Vikas Bakshi, Sanjeev Kohli, Raj Singh, Shashipal, Geeta, Rajesh Handa, Dimple and many others were also present in the protest.
