DODA, Oct 10: A leopard here attacked a cattle-shed of a villager in Rokali Khurd area in Chirala last night and killed nine goats and sheep besides injuring five other of these animals.
The cattle-shed belonged to one Ashok Kumar, son of Somi Raj, resident of Rokali.
The attack by the beast was reported to Police, Wild Life and Forest Department officials and the villagers claimed that the leopard has created terror in the area.
Locals of the area have demanded compensation for the poor farmer.
