Govt failed to resolve migrants problems: ASKPC

JAMMU, Jan 8: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) in its meeting here today under the chairmanship of H L Chatta highlighted the problems of migrants putting up in Jagti township.
Mr Chatta alleged that the Government has failed to solve their problems. He said the inmates at Jagti township were facing power crisis, lack medicare facilities and face insanitation problems.
He alleged that CAPD was ignoring the displaced APL ration card holders and the migrants still putting up at Nagrota and Muthi TRTs are waiting for allotment of quarters at Jagti.
R K Raina senior vice president of the organization expressed concern over delay in issuance of State Subject certificates to migrants and alleged that the migrants belonging to backward areas were denied the RBA certificates.
Subash Chatta, S L Mujoo and Shiban Ji Bhat also addressed the meeting.
