BHADERWAH, Jan 8: BJP unit of Doda district today held strong protest demonstration at Sari Bazaar against the Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand who visited Doda district yesterday and interacted with representatives of different political, Sarpanchs and civil society members to seek their suggestions and proposals with regard to the creation of New Administrative Units in the District.
BJP leaders led by Satish Chander Kotwal Mandal President, Ashwani Kumar Razdan Desh Raj Charak , Desh Raj Kotwal , advocate Manjeet Razdan, Koshal Kotwal and others alleged that Cabinet Sub Committee visited only district headquarter and not invited BJP leaders and workers for suggestions which is condemnable.
They alleged that it was a pre planned conspiracy not to invite BJP leaders in the meeting and Government is hell bent to create wedge among the communities in Chenab Valley .They demanded Bhalla, Athkar and Chinta areas of Bhaderwah should be declared as rural development blocks along with some other parts of Bhalessa and Thatri .
BJP leaders also demanded overhaul of the Sub Committee and urged Government to inolve all political leaders in this Committee. They also alleged that when Doda having already more blocks then what was the fun of the Ministers to visit Doda city only and ignoring Bhaderwah and Bhalessa
