SRINAGAR, Jan 8: High Court today stayed selection list of doctors who were appointed in district Kupwara under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
Justice M H Attar stayed the selection list of 17 doctors who were selected under NHRM in district Kupwara.
The Court while staying the selection list till next date of hearing, issued notices to the Health Department and the selected candidates and directed them to file objections by next date of hearing.
The Counsel of the non-selected doctors produced a copy of the communication (dated 30-11-2013) sent by the Assistant District Medical Officer, Indian System of Medicines (ISM) of district Kupwara to Director ISM where he has informed that the district health society Kupwara didn’t consider his opinion as expert and he has not signed the selection list of the doctors.
