JAMMU, Oct 11: Government today accorded sanction to the constitution of a committee for resolving land issue for immediate handing over of balance land to Airport Authority of India for the expansion of Jammu Airport.
As per the Government order, Divisional Commissioner Jammu will be chairman of the Committee while Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Director Animal Husbandry Jammu, Additional Secretary of Civil Aviation Department, Director AAI Jammu Airport and a representative of Finance Department (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) shall be its members.
The Committee shall submit its report by or before 1st November 2023, the Order mentioned.
