Ramakrishna Mission, ASCOMS Hospital hold free medical camp

JAMMU, Oct 13: A free mega multi-speciality medical camp was organized by Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre, Udheywala, Jammu here today in collaboration with ASCOMS Hospital, Jammu and Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu.
A total of 677 patients were examined by 22 doctors including Cardiologist, Dermatologist, ENT, Gastroenterologist, Paediatrician, Plastic Surgeon, General Surgeon, General Physician, Ophthalmologist, Orthopaedics, Gynaecologist, Physiotherapist, Dentists, Psychologist and Ayurvedic ENT, Physician, Gynaecologist doctors checked patients for free of cost in the medical camp.
Arrangements for refreshments were also made for all the patients. Along with this, medicines were also distributed free of cost to the patients. 150 sugar tests and 85 blood pressure tests were conducted during the camp.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Harbaksh Singh and Deputy Drug Controller, Mohammad Iqbal and many dignitaries were present during the occasion.
Dr. Harbaksh Singh, CMO Jammu said that Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu is doing commendable work following the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. He said that a camp of Allopathy and Ayurvedic has been organized together for the patients who do not have many facilities.
Swami Yajnadharanand, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu said that Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre, Jammu has been providing medical services since 2006. They assured that they will try to organize a free camp every month.
