Mentally challenged teenager repatriated to Pak

POONCH, Oct 14: A mentally challenged teenager from Pakistan, who had crossed over to this side, was handed over to Pak authorities along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch district.
According to the official reports, the said youth, identified as Irshad Ahmad (17), was intercepted and arrested by the Army when he was crossing the border in Kerni Sector on Friday.
He was handed over to the Pakistani Army by the Indian troops at the Chakan Da Bagh border crossing around noon, the officials said.
Civil officials from Poonch and Pakistan-occupied Jammu Kashmir (PoJK) were also present at the border crossing point while Ahmad was being repatriated across the border.
