JAMMU, Oct 14: For off-take of power from two major hydro projects i.e. Pakal Dul (1000 MW) & Kwar (540 MW) HE Projects two Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) were signed between Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPPL) and J&K Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL) here today.
The agreements were signed by S.C. Basnotra, CE (Trading) on behalf of JKPCL & Amrik Singh, General Manager (Planning) on behalf of CVPPPL.
The PPA’s are valid for a period of 40 years from the date of Commercial Operation of these projects.
On the occasion, the senior officers of NHPC Limited, RHPCL & JKPCL were also present.
