Refreshment course for officers commences at SKPA

UDHAMPUR, Oct 14: A two-week long refreshment course for twenty three officers of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) commenced here today at Sher-E-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur.
The course was designed to acquaint the participating officers with the role of supervisory officer who are responsible for the management of concerned sub-divisions, sub-units.
The renowned guest faculty were Rajinder Kumar Gupta, SSP, Mumtaz Ahmed, SSP, Shargun Shukla, SSP, Shobhit Saxena, SSP, Dr. Rashi Taggar, Dr. Sarita  Sood, Dr. Ranjan Sharma  faculty from Cyber Police Station Jammu, faculty from ANTF Jammu and  Nayeem Abbas Hamdani, Cyber Consultant were invited with the motive to inculcate the technical knowhow and refresh them about the subjects of utmost importance like Terrorism- threat Mitigation Strategies, Border Security issues, Tunnels, Drones etc.
Rajinder Kumar Gupta, SSP, Deputy Director SKPA was the chief guest.  He laid stress to be more visionary in building trust among the seniors and subordinates in their respective workplace. He also stressed to the participants that the rate of change in any situation is very fast in the society and as such situational settlement skills is very important for supervisory level officers.
The programme was attended by Sheikh Zulfkar Azad, SSP, Deputy Director (Admn) and  Sukhvir Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, AD (Admn) SKPA and faculty of the Academy.
