BTS delegation visits Tibetian Parl in exile

JAMMU, Oct 16: A delegation of Bharat Tibet Sangh (BTS) visited Tibetian Parliament in exile at Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh under the chairmanship of Saurabh Sarswat, BTS national general secretary and had an interactive meeting with Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Tey Kahang.
This was informed by Dr. Kuldeep Sharma, BTS Parbahri Northern Region while addressing a press conference here today.
“The Dy Speaker briefed the delegation about evolution of Tibetan democracy in exile and establishment of Tibetan Parliament in exile on 1959 under the leadership of 14th Dalia Lama. She further spoke on the current alarming situation of Tibet under China’s rule and talked of restrictions on practising Tibet’s own religion, speaking own language and other HR violations,” Sharma said.
He also said that the Dy Speaker informed the delegation that the Tibetan Parliament in exile endeavour in spreading Tibet awareness through state advocacies campaign while urging these incorporation in reaching out to India’s Grass Root level.
On behalf of Indian people the delegation promised coordination in resolving Sino-Tibet conflict.
The delegation assured its support in fight for Tibet with renewed energy to carry forward claim of Tibet to reach the general public of India and across the world.
The BTS delegation from J&K and Ladakh under the chairmanship of Dr. Kuldeep Sharma, Vivek Singal State president J&K and Shivani joined all India delegation at Dharamshalla and Maclodganj and also met Dalia Lama, Penpa Tsering, Prime Minister of Tibet in exile and All Cabinet Ministries and have the blessing of Dalia Lama.
Dalia Lama praised BTS for moral support in their cause to free Tibet and Mansarovar (Mahadev Shiva Sathali) from illegal Chinese occupation.
Ashwani Kumar Sharma, senior vice president BTS, Giat Nandan Jain, vice president, Pankaj Sharma and others were also present in the press conference.
