JAMMU, Oct 16: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association (JKTA) under the leadership of its UT President Bhupinder Singh, called on Director School Education Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma at his office and apprised him about the burning issues of teacher fraternity.
The delegation submitted a memorandum demanding issuance of DPC list of Teachers to Masters, release the salary of Teachers y on 1st of every month, proper rationalization from session to session providing two teachers to each primary school and four teachers to each middle school.
The Association also demanded transfer policy for female teachers appointed under ReT scheme on marriage grounds, resolution of issues of teachers at Zonal, CCEO and Directorate level in time bound manner, release of pending arrears of RRet teachers, conversion of pending cases of RRet to Teachers Grade ll/lll, issuance of post-facto/prior permission of the teachers and consideration of mutual transfer in favour of all teachers appointed under ReT scheme.
Director School Education Jammu gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to redress each and every issue raised by the representatives of JKTA. Those who accompanied the deputation included Joginder Dingra, Surjeet Singh, Sajad Malik, Kameshwar Baru, Liaquat Ali, Shiv Kumar, Bashir Ahmed, Munir Wani, Shabnam Kousar, Shabugta Anjam, Darshan Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Soma Kumari, Azaz Ahmed and others.
