7 pilgrims from UP injured near Katra

KATRA, Oct 16: At least seven Uttar Pradesh based pilgrims were injured when a minibus carrying them, turned turtle near Nau Deviya on Katra- Reasi road, here today.
The accident took place in the afternoon when the minibus, bearing registration number JK02AG-4643, which was going from Katra towards Shiv Khori, skidded off the road and turned turtle.
The injured were rushed to Community Health Centre Katra where three of them were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment. All the injured were from Muradabad in Uttar Pradesh.
They were identified as Sheela (38 yrs), wife of Suresh, Krishna (35yrs) wife of Ram Anand, Kajal (18 yrs) daughter of Vijender, Malti (18 yrs) daughter of Babu Ram (referred to GMC Jammu), Harpal (48 yrs) son of Romesh (referred to GMC Jammu), Kallu (65 yrs) son of Tulsi (referred to GMC Jammu) and Meenakshi (18 yrs) daughter of Harpal.
