JAMMU, Oct 19: It is for the first time that a Government at the Centre has created history by doing splendid and marvelous work for the Jammu & Kashmir thus taking development to its new heights and welfare of the people, who had been deprived of many basic rights by the previous governments of Congress and others.
Government under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has the credit of being the first dispensation at the Centre which took one decision after the other with the sole motive of delivering justice and treating all equal in all matters and at all levels, said Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, BJP general secretary and former Minister while addressing a joint meeting of BJP Jammu and Jammu South districts on ‘Booth Jan Samwad Abhiyaan’, which was attended by BJP district presidents, Prabharis, Seh-Prabharis, Mandal presidents, Mandal general secretaries, Vistaraks and others here , today.
Dr. Manyal said that in view of the 2024 general elections, the party has decided to undertake a three month ‘Booth Jan Samwad Abhiyaan’ across the UT. He said that the selected activists of the party will reach the people at Panchayat and Ward levels to educate them about the splendid works of development and welfare under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and this campaign will be commencing on October 24 this month.
Dr. Manyal asked the party cadre to meticulously plan for effective strategy to conduct about 270 programmes in both the districts. He said that every activist of BJP personifies the commitment and service to the nation and the society and this commitment should be reflected in these outreach programmes.
BJP district Jammu president, Parmod Kapahi briefed about the preparations for the scheduled campaign and said that the entire team is making all the efforts for successful conduct of this three month exercise.
BJP district Jammu South president, Rekha Mahajan said that whatever has been decided and directed by the party, will be implemented in letter and spirit in the entire length and breadth of the district.
District Jammu Prabhari, Rajeev Charak, district Jammu South Prabhari, Ayodhya Gupta, Parliamentary constituency, Vistarak Inderjeet Sharma, Vistarak Ashok Kumar and others were amongst the prominent party leaders present.
