JAMMU, Oct 19: Fulfilling their role under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the State Bank of India, (SBI) donated furniture items including 10 Ceiling Fans, 15 beds, 15 study tables, 15 chairs and 8 almirahs for the resident children of Balgran(a charitable Home for Destitute Children) here today.
In this regard a function was organised, which was presided by Vijay Raina (Secretary) and Amaresh Kumar Khajuria (President).
The donated items were handed over by DGM (B&O) Ravindra Kumar Gupta.
On this occasion Gupta said that SBI is proud to fulfill its role of CSR service as a Banker to every Indian and this initiative will serve the children of the marginalized society.
Vijay Raina (Secretary) & Amaresh Kumar Khajuria (President) thanked SBI for showing their care towards the underprivileged children of Jammu and coming forward for their needs.
