DODA, Oct 19: Two persons were killed and two others were injured in a road accident here.
As per reports a vehicle bearing registration number JK06B/6028 while on way from Doda to village Charota in Tehsil Assar rolled down and landed into a 200-250 feet deep gorge when it reached Thara Morh near Bulandpur after driver of the vehicle lost control over the vehicle last evening.
Driver of the ill fated vehicle namely Maneel Kumar, son of Choor Singh, resident of village Nagvass in Tehsil Assar, Panchayat Charota-A died on the spot while three other persons got injured.
They were identified as Mukesh Kumar, 22, son of Chail Singh; Santosh Kumar, 23, son of Prem Singh-both residents of village Charota and Sudesh Kumar, 28, son of Lekh Raj, resident of village Thandapani in Tehsil Assar.
All the injured persons were shifted to PHC Assar for treatment.
Later, injured Mukesh Kumar also succumbed to his injuries.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
