JAMMU, Oct 20: In separate cases, two persons died today of suspected poisoning in Bishnah and Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to Police sources, one Raman Kumar (32) son of Krishan Lal, resident of Kothe Morh (Bishnah) was brought dead in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu causality after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence today.
Similarly, a truck driver namely Jaspreet Singh son of Ram Pal, resident of Nawasher (Punjab) was admitted in GMC Jammu today after he complained of vomiting following consumption of some intoxicated substance. He passed away at about 1:40 PM during treatment.
“The dead bodies of both the deceased were shifted to mortuary of the Hospital while the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter,” sources added.
