RAMBAN, Oct 20: Cops here today arrested a murder accused who was absconding from the State of Gujarat.
A case in FIR number 400/2021 Under Section 302 IPC was registered at Police Station Sector 07, Gandhi Nagar in Gujarat against the accused Jayendra Singh Kanuba Gohil.
The accused was absconding and evading his arrest and Gujarat Police was making all possible efforts to arrest him.
It was reliably learnt that the accused was on his way towards Kashmir when SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma constituted a special police team to apprehend him.
The police team headed by Inspector Harjeet Singh, SHO Police Station Ramsoo apprehended the absconder Jayendra from Ramsoo area of District Ramban and handed him over to a Police Party of Gujarat Police for further course of action.
